Auveco Spring Type U-Nut Screw Size Nut

Auveco spring type U-nuts, also called speed nuts, U-type clip nuts or sheet metal clip-on nuts, are self-retaining fasteners. They give a threaded anchor point on a panel or flange, so you can fasten a screw without a separate nut or access to the back side. They are used in automotive, electrical and general industrial assembly.

Key Features:

• Spring-type U design: the nut slides onto the panel edge and grips it. This keeps it in place while you drive the screw.
• Steel construction: the steel body holds up to repeated use and gives a secure hold.
• Phosphate finish: a phosphate coating adds corrosion resistance and gives a dark, uniform appearance.
• Panel-edge mounting: designed for thin sheet metal and panels. Each part number lists its own panel range and center-of-hole-to-edge dimension.
• Sized by screw size: each part number is made for a specific screw size.

Auveco is a long-established supplier of automotive fasteners, clips and hardware. These U-nuts are a convenient choice for replacing missing or worn panel nuts. Check the screw size and panel range for the part number you choose before ordering.
