Speedmaster Dual Plane Air Gap Intake Manifold Flange

The Speedmaster Dual Plane Air Gap Intake Manifold line is made for carbureted performance engines. It improves street and strip power by keeping the incoming air charge cooler. Each manifold uses a dual plane design with an open area under the plenum chamber, often called an air gap. The gap reduces heat transfer from the engine to the incoming air and fuel.

Key Features:

• Air gap design: An open area under the plenum chamber lets air flow beneath it. This gives the incoming charge less heat transfer from the engine.
• Dual plane layout: The matched plenum and runner design keeps air and fuel distribution even. It is built for strong low-end and midrange torque.
• Cooler air charge: Speedmaster says this adds power and torque.
• Cast aluminum construction: Aluminum casting keeps weight down and gives durable, consistent runners and plenum.
• Carburetor-ready flange: The carburetor mounting flange is designed for standard 4-barrel carburetors.

Speedmaster is a respected name in performance engine and intake components. This air gap manifold line suits hot rod, muscle car, street/strip, and restoration builds where a cooler intake charge and a broad torque curve matter.
