GPD Camshaft Position Sensor Direct Fit Replacement

The GPD Camshaft Position Sensor is a direct fit replacement engine sensor. It reports camshaft position and rotation to the engine control module (ECM). The ECM uses this signal, along with crankshaft data, to time fuel injection and ignition accurately. A worn or failing cam position sensor (also called a CMP sensor or cam sensor) can cause hard starting, rough idle, stalling, poor fuel economy, reduced power, or a check engine light.

Key Features:

• Direct fit design intended as a replacement for the original sensor, so no modification is needed
• Helps restore accurate camshaft position signals for proper engine timing
• Built for dependable performance under engine heat, vibration, and oil exposure
• Supports smooth starting, steady idle, and efficient fuel delivery
• Backed by GPD, a supplier of aftermarket engine management and electrical components

Replacing a faulty camshaft position sensor helps bring back driveability and can prevent further trouble with engine performance. Select the correct part number for your application from the available options on this page.
