GPD A/C Compressor Clutch Coil

The GPD A/C compressor clutch coil (also called an AC clutch coil or electromagnetic clutch coil) is a replacement part for the air conditioning compressor clutch assembly. When the climate control system calls for cooling, the coil is energized. It creates a magnetic field that pulls the clutch plate against the pulley, so the compressor turns and the refrigerant circulates.

Key Features:

• Replaces a worn, open-circuit or shorted clutch coil, which can cause a compressor that won't engage, intermittent cooling or no cold air
• Wound and built to deliver consistent electromagnetic force for reliable clutch engagement and disengagement
• Designed to restore proper compressor clutch operation without replacing the entire compressor in many cases
• Sold in application-specific versions to match the compressor and clutch design

GPD supplies replacement automotive electrical and climate control components. A new clutch coil helps restore dependable A/C performance and cabin comfort. Select the correct version for your compressor using the individual part listings.
