GPD A/C Evaporator Core Body

The GPD A/C evaporator core (also called an AC evaporator or evaporator coil) is a direct-fit replacement part from Global Parts Distributors. It restores cooling performance in your vehicle's air conditioning system. The evaporator sits inside the HVAC housing. Refrigerant passing through it absorbs heat from the cabin air that the blower motor pushes across the fins. This cools and dehumidifies the air before it reaches the vents.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE fit, form, and function
• Direct-fit replacement for straightforward installation
• Durability tested on every new design
• 100% leak tested
• Helps restore cold air output and cabin comfort when the original core is leaking, clogged, or corroded

Replace the evaporator core when you see weak cooling, refrigerant loss, or a musty odor from the vents. The system should be evacuated and recharged after installation. It is also good practice to replace the receiver/drier or accumulator and the expansion valve or orifice tube at the same time. GPD offers this line across many applications, and each part number has its own specifications.
