Sherman Lower Door Skin for Ford Super Cab

The Sherman lower door skin is a replacement outer door repair panel for restoring the rusted or damaged bottom section of a truck door. Replacing only the lower skin is a practical alternative to replacing the whole door. It suits collision repair, rust repair and restoration work.

Key Features:

• Steel construction: Stamped steel panel for a durable repair.
• EDP coating: Electro-deposition primer coating gives corrosion protection. It leaves a black finish that can be scuffed, primed and painted.
• Lower outer door skin design: Replaces the damaged lower outer skin of the door.
• Left and right options: Driver side and passenger side panels are available, each sold individually.
• Body shop friendly: Installs with standard body repair methods. Cut out the old panel, fit the new skin, then crimp and weld it in place.

For best results, scuff the e-coat, prime, and finish with automotive-grade paint. Seal the seams and edges after installation to help prevent rust from returning. Sherman lower door skins are a cost-effective way to bring a rusted or dented door back to a clean, paint-ready finish.
