URO Trunk Lid Damper Lift Support

The URO Trunk Lid Damper Lift Support (also called a trunk lid gas strut, trunk lift strut or decklid gas spring) helps raise and hold the trunk lid open. It replaces a worn strut that has lost its gas charge, so the lid no longer drops or needs to be propped up when you load or unload cargo.

Key Features:

• Gas-charged damper design gives smooth, controlled lid movement
• Holds the trunk lid open while you load and unload
• Replaces worn or weak original-style struts
• Steel construction with end fittings for secure mounting
• Made by URO, a supplier of European vehicle replacement parts

Replacing a weak strut restores easy trunk access and helps prevent the lid from slamming shut. In most cases the swap is a simple bolt-on job that needs only basic hand tools. Replace struts in pairs where two are used, so the lid lifts evenly.
