Delphi Ignition Knock Sensor

The Delphi ignition knock sensor, also called a detonation sensor or engine knock sensor, helps your engine management system detect abnormal combustion. It monitors engine block vibration and sends a signal to the engine control module (ECM). The ECM can then adjust ignition timing to reduce knock and protect the engine.
