Spectra Charge Air Cooler Intercooler

Spectra Premium charge air coolers, also called intercoolers or turbocharger intercoolers, cool the compressed intake air that leaves the turbocharger before it enters the engine. Cooler air is denser. That lets the engine burn fuel more efficiently, helps prevent heat-related power loss and detonation, and keeps performance consistent under boost.

Key Features:

• Engineered by an in-house team of Canadian engineers to match the cooling efficiency of original equipment (OE) specifications
• Designed to minimize pressure drop and maximize heat dissipation for efficient engine operation
• Aluminum construction, built from tubes and fins that are brazed together into a strong single-piece core
• Precisely engineered cast-aluminum tanks for proper fit, form and function
• Leak tested before shipping to help ensure a damage-free unit at installation
• Built from premium-grade materials for durability and long service life
• OE-style design for a direct-fit replacement and straightforward installation

Spectra Premium operates under strict quality management standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. Each charge air cooler in this line is built to meet or exceed the performance of the original part it replaces. Choose the specific part number that matches your application.
