Gates Multi-V Serpentine Belt Drive Belt

The Gates Multi-V serpentine belt (also called a multi-rib belt, poly-V belt or accessory drive belt) is designed to drive several engine accessories from a single belt. Depending on the application, these can include the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and air conditioning compressor.

Key Features:

• Multi-rib design gives a large contact area with the pulleys, for smooth and efficient power transfer
• Made from durable rubber compounds built to resist heat, cracking, oil and wear
• Reinforced tensile cords help the belt hold its shape and stay stable under load
• Made to fit accurately and run quietly, with reliable accessory operation
• Backed by Gates' reputation for engineering and quality in belt drive systems

A fresh serpentine belt helps keep the battery charging, the engine cooling and the cabin comfortable. Inspect the belt, tensioner and pulleys whenever you replace it, so the whole drive system keeps working as it should.
