Raybestos Drum Brake Self-Adjuster Cable

The Raybestos Drum Brake Self-Adjuster Cable is a replacement self-adjuster cable, also called an automatic adjuster cable or brake adjuster cable, for drum brake assemblies. It helps the self-adjusting mechanism keep the correct shoe-to-drum clearance as the brake linings wear.

Key Features:

• Links the brake shoe or anchor to the adjuster lever, so the star wheel adjuster turns when the brakes are applied in reverse
• Helps keep the parking brake and pedal travel consistent as the linings wear
• Made as a replacement for worn, stretched, or broken cables
• Built to hold up to the heat, vibration, and repeated cycling of drum brake service
• Made by Raybestos, a long-time brand in brake friction and hydraulic components

Replacing the self-adjuster cable when you service the drum brakes helps the adjuster work as designed. It also helps the shoes wear evenly. Choose the exact part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
