Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier with Desiccant

The Four Seasons A/C receiver drier with desiccant, also called an AC receiver dryer or refrigerant drier, is a key part of an automotive air conditioning system. It helps protect the system and keep it cooling reliably. It is used in systems that have an orifice tube and a receiver drier on the high side.

Key Features:

• Desiccant inside the drier absorbs moisture that can get into the refrigerant circuit and cause corrosion, freezing and component damage
• Built-in filtration helps trap debris and contaminants before they reach the compressor, orifice tube or expansion device
• Stores liquid refrigerant so the system gets a steady supply under varying load conditions
• Designed to match the form, fit and function of the original equipment part
• Durable construction is intended for the pressure and temperature swings of A/C service

Replace the receiver drier whenever the A/C system is opened, after a compressor replacement, or after a system contamination event. Doing so helps keep the system free of moisture and supports long A/C component life. Four Seasons is a well-known supplier of aftermarket A/C and engine cooling components.
