ACDelco Side Liftgate Window Strut

The ACDelco Side Liftgate Window Strut (also called a liftgate glass lift support, rear window gas strut or hatch glass prop) helps raise the side window of the liftgate and hold it open. It is built to replace a worn or weak original strut, so the window opens smoothly and stays where you put it.

Key Features:

• Gas-charged strut design that supplies controlled lifting force for the liftgate window
• Holds the window open without needing to be propped by hand
• Replaces worn struts that let the window drop, drift or open slowly
• Available in driver side and passenger side versions
• Backed by the ACDelco brand, which supplies parts to GM and the aftermarket

Replacing worn liftgate window struts restores easy access to the cargo area and helps the window work and seal as intended. The struts are usually simple to install with basic hand tools. Replace them in pairs when both sides show wear so the lift force stays even.
