ACDelco Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Cover

The ACDelco Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Cover (also called a thermostat housing, thermostat cover or water outlet) is a replacement part for the engine cooling system. It holds the thermostat in place and gives the coolant a sealed path to the radiator. This helps the engine reach and hold its proper operating temperature.

Key Features:

• Designed to seal the thermostat and coolant passage and help prevent leaks
• Helps maintain steady coolant flow and engine temperature control
• Built to meet ACDelco's quality standards for fit, form and function
• Made to replace worn, cracked or corroded original housings
• Backed by ACDelco, a General Motors brand with a long history in OE-quality replacement parts

A cracked or corroded thermostat housing cover can cause coolant leaks, overheating and poor engine performance. Replacing it restores the cooling system's sealing and reliability. Installing a new thermostat and gasket or seal at the same time is a common practice. Choose the specific part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
