ACDelco Air Conditioning Evaporator Temperature Sensor

The ACDelco Air Conditioning Evaporator Temperature Sensor (also called an A/C evaporator temperature sensor, evaporator thermistor, or evaporator temp sensor) monitors the temperature of the evaporator core in your vehicle's HVAC system. It sends this data to the climate control module, which uses it to regulate A/C compressor operation.

Key Features:

• Monitors evaporator temperature so the compressor can cycle correctly
• Helps prevent evaporator icing and supports consistent cabin cooling
• Helps maintain efficient A/C system performance
• Engineered to meet ACDelco's quality and durability standards for dependable operation
• Designed as a direct replacement for the original sensor

A failing evaporator temperature sensor can cause weak or inconsistent cooling, compressor short-cycling, or an A/C system that won't engage. Replacing it with an ACDelco sensor helps restore proper climate control operation. ACDelco is General Motors' parts brand and is known for dependable replacement components.
