ACDelco Professional Rear Drum Brake Adjuster

The ACDelco Professional Rear Drum Brake Adjuster is a replacement drum brake self-adjuster (also called a brake adjusting screw or star wheel adjuster) for rear drum brake assemblies. It keeps the brake shoes at the correct distance from the drum as the friction material wears, which helps maintain consistent pedal feel and braking performance.

Key Features:

• Replaces worn, seized or damaged rear drum brake adjusters
• Helps maintain proper shoe-to-drum clearance as the linings wear
• Part of the ACDelco Professional line, which is designed to meet or exceed demanding performance expectations for repair shops and do-it-yourselfers
• Engineered for dependable operation and a good fit in rear drum brake hardware
• Backed by the ACDelco brand, which has a long history as a General Motors parts supplier

Replacing a worn adjuster during a drum brake service helps restore proper shoe adjustment and reliable stopping. For best results, inspect the related drum brake hardware, such as springs, shoes and the drum, and replace any worn components at the same time.
