ACDelco Intake Air Temperature Sensor

The ACDelco Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor, also called an air charge temperature sensor, measures the temperature of the air entering the engine. It sends that reading to the engine control module (ECM/PCM). The ECM uses the signal to help calculate fuel delivery and ignition timing, so the engine can run efficiently under changing conditions.

Key Features:

• Monitors incoming air temperature and sends a signal to the engine computer
• Helps maintain proper air-fuel mixture, drivability, and fuel economy
• Helps support stable idle and smooth throttle response
• Replacing a failing sensor can help resolve check engine light codes related to intake air temperature circuits
• Engineered to meet ACDelco's quality standards for fit, function, and durability
