ACDelco Engine Cooling Fan Resistor

The ACDelco Engine Cooling Fan Resistor (also called a radiator fan resistor or blower motor resistor for the cooling fan circuit) controls the speed of the engine cooling fan. It helps the fan move the right amount of air across the radiator and condenser. This keeps engine temperatures stable and supports air conditioning performance.

Key Features:

• Regulates electrical current to the cooling fan motor so it can run at different speeds
• Helps prevent overheating in stop-and-go traffic and at idle
• Replaces a worn or failed resistor, a common cause of a fan that works only on certain speeds or not at all
• Built to meet ACDelco's standards for fit, function, and durability
• Designed for direct replacement, with no modification needed in most applications
