Standard Motor Products Coolant Temperature Fan Switch

The Standard Motor Products coolant temperature fan switch (also called a radiator fan switch, cooling fan thermostat switch or engine cooling fan temperature sensor) helps control the electric cooling fan. It senses engine coolant temperature and turns the fan on and off at the right points, which helps the engine stay in its normal operating range.

Key Features:

• Monitors coolant temperature and switches the cooling fan circuit on and off at calibrated temperatures
• Helps prevent overheating and unnecessary fan operation
• Built to meet or exceed original equipment form, fit and function
• Designed for reliable sealing and electrical connection in demanding under-hood conditions
• Backed by Standard Motor Products, a long-established name in engine management and temperature control parts

A worn or failed fan switch can cause the fan to run constantly, not run at all, or run at the wrong time. Replacing it can restore proper fan operation and help protect the engine from heat-related damage. Select the specific part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
