Dorman Diesel Fuel Filter Cap Kit with O-Ring

The Dorman Diesel Fuel Filter Cap Kit with O-Ring is a direct-fit replacement fuel filter cap, also called a fuel filter housing cap or fuel filter end cap. It replaces a cracked, worn or leaking original cap on diesel fuel filter housings. Dorman designs each cap to match the fit and function of the original on its specified applications.

Key Features:

• Provides a tight seal on the fuel filter housing. This helps keep diesel fuel from splashing or leaking out of the system.
• Helps keep foreign matter out of the fuel system, which protects the engine and engine compartment.
• Comes with an O-ring seal, where applicable.
• Hex-head design on many caps for easier removal and installation.
• Direct-fit design for easy replacement.
• Built to be durable and to perform reliably over a long service life.

Dorman has made OE-replacement components since 1918. It offers a wide range of fuel filter caps for different diesel applications. Replacing the cap when you service the fuel filter is an inexpensive way to prevent leaks and fuel system contamination. Use the correct tool for your cap's drive style to avoid stripping or damaging it.
