MAHLE TSE Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

The MAHLE TSE Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (also called a coolant temp sensor or ECT sensor) monitors the temperature of the engine coolant and sends that data to the engine control unit. The ECU uses this signal to manage fuel injection, ignition timing, idle speed, and cooling fan operation. It also uses the signal to help the engine run efficiently under different operating conditions.

Key Features:

• Provides accurate coolant temperature readings for engine management
• Helps support smooth cold starts, stable idle, and efficient fuel delivery
• Built to meet the quality standards expected of MAHLE original equipment parts
• Designed for durable operation in the heat, vibration, and chemical exposure of the engine cooling system
• Direct-replacement design for straightforward installation

A failing coolant temperature sensor can cause hard starting, poor fuel economy, rough running, overheating warnings, or a check engine light. Replacing a worn sensor with a MAHLE unit helps restore reliable engine management. MAHLE is a global automotive supplier with a long history in engine components and thermal management.
