Rein Crankcase Oil Separator

The Rein Crankcase Oil Separator, also called a crankcase breather, PCV oil separator or oil trap, is a replacement part for the crankcase ventilation system. It separates oil mist from the blow-by gases that build up in the engine. The cleaned vapors go back to the intake, and the oil drains back to the crankcase.

Key Features:

• Replaces the original crankcase ventilation oil separator
• Helps keep the PCV system working as designed
• Helps reduce oil carry-over into the intake tract
• Helps prevent the rough idle, oil consumption and check engine lights that come with a failed separator
• Made to fit the original application and for straightforward installation

Rein supplies quality replacement parts for European vehicles, with a focus on BMW. Replacing a worn or clogged oil separator helps restore proper crankcase ventilation. It also helps protect seals and gaskets from excess crankcase pressure. Several variants are available in this product line, each made for a specific application.
