Rein CV Boot Kit with Clamps and Grease

The Rein CV Boot Kit with Clamps and Grease is a replacement constant velocity (CV) joint boot kit. It helps protect the CV joint on your axle shaft from dirt, water, and debris. A torn or cracked CV axle boot lets grease escape and contaminants in. This can wear out the joint early, so replacing the boot promptly can help you avoid a full axle replacement.

Key Features:

• Replacement CV joint boot (also called a CV axle boot) for restoring the protective seal on the joint
• Includes clamps and CV joint grease, as supplied in the kit
• Flexible boot construction designed to handle the movement and angle changes of the axle shaft
• Helps keep grease in and moisture, dirt, and road debris out
• Made by Rein, an aftermarket supplier of replacement automotive parts

Replacing a damaged boot is a cost-effective way to restore the joint's protection, provided the joint itself hasn't yet been damaged. Installation involves removing the axle, cleaning and inspecting the joint, packing it with the supplied grease, and securing the new boot with the clamps.
