FAG Wheel Bearing Retaining Ring C-Clip

The FAG wheel bearing retaining ring, also called a wheel bearing circlip, snap ring or C-clip, locks the wheel bearing into the hub or axle carrier bore. It stops the bearing from shifting out of position during driving. FAG is part of the Schaeffler Group, a major bearing manufacturer and OE supplier.

Key Features:

• Secures the wheel bearing against axial movement in the axle carrier or knuckle
• Fits into a groove in the carrier. Installation and removal use standard snap ring pliers
• Made by FAG, which develops wheel bearing components and service parts for professional repairs
• Designed to be used with FAG wheel bearings

Install a fresh retaining ring whenever you replace a wheel bearing. This helps keep the bearing seated correctly and avoids problems from a ring that was damaged or deformed during removal. Choose the individual part number that matches your application.
