VEMO Exhaust Gas Differential Pressure Sensor

The VEMO Exhaust Gas Differential Pressure Sensor (also called a DPF differential pressure sensor or exhaust pressure sensor) measures the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the diesel particulate filter (DPF). The engine control unit uses this signal to monitor how much soot the filter has loaded. It also uses it to decide when to start a regeneration cycle.

Key Features:

• Measures exhaust gas pressure differential across the particulate filter
• Sends an electrical signal to the engine control unit to support DPF regeneration and emissions control
• Helps maintain engine performance and efficient exhaust aftertreatment
• Made as a replacement part by VEMO, a brand known for aftermarket automotive parts that follow OE specifications

A failing differential pressure sensor can cause a DPF warning light, reduced engine power (limp mode), or poor regeneration. Replacing it restores accurate readings so the exhaust system and engine management work as designed.
