VAICO Engine Oil Separator Crankcase Ventilation

The VAICO engine oil separator, also called a crankcase ventilation oil separator or oil trap, is a replacement part for the engine's positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) system. It separates oil mist from crankcase blow-by gases before they return to the intake. This helps keep the ventilation system working properly and limits oil carryover into the intake tract.

Key Features:

• Replacement component for the crankcase ventilation system
• Separates oil vapor and mist from blow-by gases
• Helps support correct crankcase pressure regulation
• Helps reduce oil consumption and emissions caused by a failing separator
• Developed as an aftermarket replacement to match the original part's form and function

VAICO is a German aftermarket brand under the Vaico/Ferdinand Bilstein group. It develops parts to meet or exceed OE specifications. A worn or clogged oil separator can cause oil leaks, rough idle, increased oil consumption, or a check engine light. Replacing it restores proper crankcase ventilation.
