Westar Front Outer Drive Motor Mount

The Westar Front Outer Drive Motor Mount (also called a front drive unit mount or electric motor mount) is a replacement part for the outer mounting position of the front drive unit. In an electric vehicle, this mount does the job an engine mount does in a conventional car. It secures the motor and gearbox assembly to the subframe and absorbs vibration and torque reaction.

Key Features:

• Aftermarket replacement for the front outer drive motor mount position
• Holds the front drive unit in place and helps isolate vibration and noise from the cabin
• Helps restore a smooth, quiet drive. Worn mounts can cause clunks, knocking or shudder under acceleration
• Built by Westar, a manufacturer and distributor of engine and transmission mounts, center support bearings, strut mounts and air suspension
• Part of Westar's EV mount range, which was among the first drive unit mounts offered to the aftermarket

Replacing a worn drive motor mount helps keep the drivetrain properly positioned and reduces stress on connected components. Choose the individual listing that matches the position and part number you need.
