3M Perfect-It Random Orbital Foam Compounding Pad - Coarse Grade

The 3M Perfect-It Random Orbital Compounding Pad in Coarse Grade is a buffing and polishing pad for automotive paint correction. It is made for use with the 3M Perfect-It Random Orbital Polisher and is part of the 3M Perfect-It Random Orbital Paint Finishing System. Use it for the first, heavier-cut compounding step on paint and clear coat.

Key Features:

• Coarse cut: Made for the compounding stage, where defects are removed before polishing.
• Designed for random orbital motion: It handles the circular and oscillating action of the Perfect-It Random Orbital Polisher. It still flexes enough to follow vehicle contours.
• Haze, swirl and hologram control: Used with the matching Perfect-It Random Orbital Compound, it aims for a high-gloss finish without swirl marks, haze or holograms.
• Less sling: Used with the matching 3M polisher and compound, it produces less sling than a rotary system. There is also less worry about burn-through.
• Hookit attachment: The single-sided pad uses 3M Hookit attachment, so pad changes are quick.

3M designed the Perfect-It pads for collision repair and professional detailing technicians of all skill levels. They also suit enthusiasts who want a consistent compounding result.
