Product Details

The Dayco serpentine belt (also called a multi-rib belt, multi-V belt, poly-V belt or accessory drive belt) transfers power from the engine crankshaft to the accessories. These typically include the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and air conditioning compressor. Dayco is a long-established name in belt and drive-system products. Its serpentine belts are designed for reliable, quiet operation in demanding under-hood conditions.

Key Features:

  • Multi-rib design that gives a large contact area with the pulleys for efficient power transfer
  • Reinforced tensile cords to help resist stretching and maintain stable tension
  • Heat-, oil- and wear-resistant rubber construction for long service life
  • Flexible construction that handles tight pulley routing and the bending of serpentine drive layouts
  • Helps reduce noise, slippage and vibration in the accessory drive
  • Manufactured to meet or exceed OE requirements for fit and performance

Installation Notes: Replacing the belt with a new one is a good time to inspect the tensioner, idler pulleys and other drive components for wear. Check the belt for cracking, glazing, fraying or missing ribs at regular service intervals. A worn belt can cause squealing, loss of accessory function or engine overheating.

Choose the child item that matches your application for a dependable replacement of your serpentine drive belt.

Fast shipping Great products great price. Will purchase again

Very happy with the product I received and the time of delivery. We have installed it yet as the person I ordered it for actually died the day that was delivered. But it is identical to the one that came off the vehicle, I did want to let you know that we checked at the auto salvage yard which is a U-Pull-It yard, and the price at which we paid for your new product was the same thing they were charging for a used one, that included the shipping price. The difference is every single one they had there which was a total of six of them, every single one was rusted out the same way as the one we are replacing, I did want to let you know that I ordered it by the part number and not by what you said is vehicle fit. It was a 2011 Chevy HHR, on your page, it came up as for an HHR but every single version says does not fit base version, does not fit LX, every single version that I put in all the different versions of the HHR your own advertisement says does not fit that version. But luckily you have the actual part number listed and who actually produced it and it was their part number, and before I say much more about the price, because it was a good price and you'd sell more if you took off the does not fit different versions than it does fit. The local salvage yard was recently purchased by somebody who bought all the local solid yards and instantly Rose their prices. What I used to be able to buy as in like a transfer case for my Jeep Cherokee would be anywhere from 25 to $50 and now they're asking $150 for a used transfer case with no guarantee except I can exchange it if it doesn't work. So this local you put a salvage yard it's pretty much put themself out of business I think. Because they don't have nearly the number of vehicles they used to. And pretty much what they're charging for used parts that I have to pull off, are the same prices that I'm having to pay for at other purchase options like the one you provided, and like I said, the Jeep transfer case that I was looking for, what they're charging now is something I can purchase from somebody that's been tested and rebuilt. So they're having unrealistic pricing, but we are so happy with your product.
