Hella Pencil Ignition Coil

The Hella pencil ignition coil is a coil-on-plug ignition coil, also called a pencil coil or direct ignition coil. It sits directly over the spark plug and turns the vehicle's low battery voltage into the high voltage needed to ignite the air-fuel mixture in each cylinder. Its slim, pencil-like shape lets it fit into the narrow spark plug wells of modern engines.

Key Features:

• Coil-on-plug design that removes the need for spark plug wires and a distributor
• Supplies a strong, consistent spark for reliable starting and smooth running
• Helps support efficient combustion, fuel economy and lower emissions
• Built from quality materials to handle engine heat, vibration and long service life
• Made to meet or exceed original equipment performance expectations

Hella is a long-established OE supplier of automotive electrical and lighting components. Replacing a worn or failing ignition coil can help fix misfires, rough idle, hesitation, reduced power and poor fuel economy. Select the child item that matches your application to get the correct coil.
