Briggs & Stratton Spark Arrester Muffler Screen

Briggs & Stratton spark arrester muffler screens (also called spark arrestors or spark arrester screens) are genuine OEM replacement parts for small gasoline engines. The screen attaches to the muffler. It keeps hot embers and sparks from leaving with the exhaust gases.

Key Features:

• Spark control: The fine screen stops embers from escaping through the exhaust, which lowers the fire risk in dry grass and brush.
• Genuine OEM quality: These parts are made or sourced by Briggs & Stratton to fit its engines and equipment.
• Muffler-mounted design: The screen fastens to the muffler outlet. On many applications you can swap it out with basic hand tools.
• Restores engine performance: Soot can clog a screen over time and restrict exhaust flow. A clogged screen can cause rough running, stalling or hard starting. A new screen restores normal exhaust flow.

Use these screens for routine maintenance or to replace a damaged or clogged spark arrester on lawn and garden equipment, generators, pressure washers and other small-engine power equipment. Several variants are available in this product line. Choose the one that matches your engine or equipment.
