Briggs & Stratton Stop Wire OEM Replacement Part

The Briggs & Stratton stop wire (also called an engine kill wire or ground wire) is an OEM replacement part for Briggs & Stratton small engines. It connects the engine's ignition system to the stop switch or kill control. When the switch is activated, the wire grounds the ignition and shuts the engine off.

Key Features:

• Genuine Briggs & Stratton OEM replacement part built to the engine manufacturer's specifications
• Restores reliable engine shutdown when the original wire is damaged, frayed, corroded or broken
• Insulated wire with a terminal for secure connection to the ignition and stop control
• Straightforward installation with basic hand tools on most small engine equipment

Using an OEM stop wire helps keep the engine's kill circuit working as designed. This matters for lawn mowers, pressure washers, generators and other outdoor power equipment. Select the child item that matches your engine or equipment application.
