Keystone Tailgate Support Cable - OEM Replacement

The Keystone Tailgate Support Cable line offers OEM-style replacement tailgate cables (also called tailgate check cables or tailgate straps) for pickup trucks and similar vehicles. When the tailgate is lowered, these cables hold it level with the bed and stop it from swinging past its intended travel. Worn, frayed or sagging cables are a common reason to replace them.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement designed to match the form, fit and function of the original equipment cable
• Restores proper tailgate support so the tailgate stays level when open
• Helps keep the tailgate from dropping too far and hitting the bumper or body
• Designed for straightforward installation, with no drilling or modification typically needed
• Backed by Keystone Automotive Industries, a long-standing supplier of collision repair and OEM-style replacement parts
