USA Standard Gear Manual Transmission Tail Bushing

The USA Standard Gear manual transmission tail bushing, also called an extension housing bushing or tail housing bushing, supports the output shaft or driveshaft slip yoke at the rear of the transmission. It is a replacement part for restoring smooth, stable rear-output support in a manual gearbox.

Key Features:

• Replacement tail (extension housing) bushing for manual transmissions
• Supports the rear output shaft or slip yoke and helps keep it aligned
• Helps reduce driveline vibration, wear and leaks at the tail housing seal
• Backed by USA Standard Gear, which makes a broad line of transmission, differential and general replacement parts
• Offered in several designs to match different manual transmission families and output shaft configurations

A worn tail bushing can cause driveline vibration, a leaking rear seal and accelerated wear on the output shaft or slip yoke. Replacing it during a transmission rebuild or seal service restores proper support and helps protect the rest of the driveline.
