USA Standard Gear Manual Transmission Countershaft Plug Seal

The USA Standard Gear Manual Transmission Countershaft Plug Seal is a replacement transmission plug seal. It is also called a countershaft plug, expansion plug, or welch plug. It seals the end of the countershaft bore in a manual transmission case. This helps keep gear oil inside the housing and keeps contaminants out.

Key Features:

• Designed to seal the countershaft opening in the manual transmission case
• Helps prevent gear oil leaks that can lead to low lubricant levels and premature wear
• Replacement part for worn, corroded, or leaking original plugs
• Backed by USA Standard Gear's focus on drivetrain and transmission replacement components

Replacing a leaking countershaft plug seal during a transmission rebuild or service helps protect internal gears and bearings and supports smooth, reliable shifting. Select the specific part number from this product line for your application.
