GPD Barometric Pressure Sensor

The GPD Barometric Pressure Sensor line includes replacement barometric pressure (BARO) sensors, also called manifold absolute pressure or atmospheric pressure sensors. They measure ambient air pressure and send that data to the engine control module (ECM/PCM). The module uses the signal to adjust fuel delivery and ignition timing for changes in altitude and weather.

Key Features:

• Measures atmospheric pressure and sends an accurate signal to the engine computer
• Helps maintain proper air/fuel mixture, drivability and fuel efficiency at different altitudes
• Replaces a failed sensor that may cause a check engine light, rough running, poor fuel economy or hesitation
• Built to match the form, fit and function of the original part for straightforward installation
• Made by GPD, a supplier of aftermarket electronic engine management components

Replacing a worn or faulty barometric pressure sensor helps restore engine performance and keeps emissions control accurate. Choose the correct variant for your application from the options listed on this page.
