GPD A/C Condenser Automotive Air Conditioning

The GPD A/C condenser is a replacement automotive air conditioning condenser. It is also called an AC condenser or air conditioning condenser. It sits at the front of the vehicle, ahead of the radiator. Its job is to release heat from the hot, high-pressure refrigerant that leaves the compressor. As the refrigerant cools, it changes from a gas to a liquid. The liquid then flows on to the rest of the A/C system. This lets the system keep cooling the cabin.

Key Features:

• Replacement condenser designed to restore A/C cooling performance
• Heat-exchanger construction with refrigerant tubes and cooling fins that move heat away from the refrigerant
• Built to work with the existing A/C system as a direct replacement part
• Helps the system cool efficiently and keeps the compressor from working harder than necessary
• Offered in multiple part numbers to cover a range of applications

A damaged, leaking, or clogged condenser can cause weak cooling, high system pressures, and refrigerant loss. Replacing it is a common repair after road debris damage, corrosion, or internal restriction. When you replace the condenser, also consider replacing the receiver/drier or accumulator. Evacuate and recharge the system to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
