GPD A/C Evaporator Core Dodge Grand Caravan

The GPD A/C evaporator core, also called an AC evaporator or A/C evaporator coil, is a direct-fit replacement part for your vehicle's air conditioning system. It works like a small radiator behind the dash or in the rear cabin. Refrigerant expands inside it and absorbs heat from the air passing over its fins. That cools and dehumidifies the air before the blower sends it through the vents. A leaking or clogged evaporator can cause weak cooling, musty odors, or refrigerant loss. Replacing it restores normal A/C performance.

Key Features:

• Designed to meet or exceed OE fit, form, and function
• Direct-fit replacement for straightforward installation
• Durability tested on every new design
• Available in front and rear evaporator configurations across the product line
• New replacement part for restoring cooling and humidity control

Installation Notes: Evaporator replacement usually involves A/C system service. Recover the refrigerant first, then evacuate and recharge the system. Some applications also need a separate fitting or hardware kit. Replace the receiver/drier or accumulator and the expansion device or orifice tube when the system is opened, to help protect the new evaporator.

GPD, part of the Global Parts Distributors family, supplies aftermarket replacement parts. Choose the exact evaporator for your application from the individual part listings in this product line.
