Sherman Rear Cross Rail Outer Extension

The Sherman rear cross rail outer extension is a replacement body and chassis support part. It restores the outer end of the rear cross rail (also called a rear cross sill or rear crossmember extension) when the factory piece is rusted, damaged or missing. It is available in left-hand and right-hand versions for the matching side of the vehicle.

Key Features:

• Made as a direct replacement for the original outer rear cross rail extension
• Built to factory specifications for proper fit and alignment
• Steel construction for strength and durability
• Designed to retain the factory mounting points so it installs in the stock position
• Suited to restoration, rust repair and collision repair work

Sherman has long made replacement sheet metal and structural body parts for restoration and repair. Installing a new outer extension helps restore the rear structure and gives the rear of the vehicle a solid base for further repairs.
