Helix Lafayette Car Crossmember Kit with Top Hats

The Helix Lafayette Car Crossmember Kit with Top Hats is a heavy-duty front crossmember (also called a frame crossmember or IFS crossmember) for Mustang II-style independent front suspension swaps. Helix crossmembers are designed to improve suspension, handling and overall performance. They let you build correct front-end geometry into a project car.

Key Features:

• Top hats included: The kit comes with top hats to support the installation.
• Heavy-duty steel construction: Built to handle the loads of a custom suspension conversion.
• Steering rack mounts: Provision for mounting a steering rack is part of the design.
• Pre-welded details: Pre-welded pins and welded gussets add strength and make alignment easier.
• Ready for the build: Helix kits typically provide the hard-to-make brackets and mounts needed to complete the installation.

Helix has a long record of building crossmembers, IFS kits and related suspension, brake and steering components for street rods, classics and custom builds. Choose the child option that matches your application to get a crossmember made for that build.
