Genuine Crankcase Breather Ventilation Hose

The Genuine Crankcase Breather Ventilation Hose (also called a PCV hose, crankcase vent hose or engine breather hose) is an original equipment replacement part. It is part of the positive crankcase ventilation system. It carries blow-by gases and vapors from the engine crankcase to the intake, where they are burned off instead of being released to the atmosphere.

Key Features:

• Original equipment part, made to the manufacturer's specifications for fit and function
• Routes crankcase vapors to help control internal engine pressure
• Supports emissions control by keeping blow-by gases in the closed ventilation system
• Helps limit oil leaks and sludge buildup caused by excess crankcase pressure
• Flexible hose construction designed to withstand engine heat, oil vapors and vibration

A cracked, hardened or collapsed breather hose can cause vacuum leaks, rough idle, oil seepage and a lit check engine light. Replacing it with a genuine OEM hose restores correct crankcase ventilation and a proper seal. Several part numbers are available in this product line. Choose the one that matches your application.
