Motorcraft A/C Receiver Drier

The Motorcraft A/C receiver drier (also called an AC accumulator or receiver-dryer) is a key part of the vehicle's air conditioning system. It is engineered as Ford's genuine service replacement for the system's original equipment. The unit filters the refrigerant circuit and removes moisture from it, which helps keep the A/C performing reliably.

Key Features:

• Contains desiccant that absorbs moisture in the refrigerant circuit and helps prevent internal corrosion and freeze-ups
• Built-in filtration helps trap debris and protect the compressor and other A/C components
• Acts as a refrigerant reservoir so that only liquid refrigerant flows toward the expansion device
• Made to Ford specifications for dependable fit, function and durability
• Backed by the Motorcraft brand, Ford Motor Company's official parts line

Replace the receiver drier whenever the A/C system is opened for service, or when the compressor or another major component is replaced. Doing so helps protect the new parts and restore cooling performance. Select the correct part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
