Replacement Turbocharger Boost Pressure Sensor OEM

This turbocharger boost pressure sensor (also called a turbo boost sensor, manifold absolute pressure sensor or MAP sensor) is an OEM-style replacement. It monitors the air pressure in the intake system of a turbocharged engine. It sends a signal to the engine control module (ECM), which uses it to manage fuel delivery, boost control and ignition timing.

Key Features:

• Measures turbocharger boost pressure and reports it to the engine control module
• Helps the engine keep boost levels accurate for smooth, efficient operation
• Replaces a worn or failed original sensor
• Designed to match the form, fit and function of the original equipment sensor

A failing boost pressure sensor can cause symptoms such as reduced power, poor fuel economy, rough running, turbo underboost or overboost codes, or a check engine light. Replacing it restores accurate boost readings and helps the engine run properly.
