Gates Hydraulic Quick Disconnect Dust Plug

The Gates Hydraulic Quick Disconnect Dust Plug (also called a QD dust plug or quick coupler dust cap) protects the open end of hydraulic quick disconnect couplers when hoses are disconnected. Fitting a plug helps keep dirt, dust and debris out of the coupler, so contamination stays out of your hydraulic system between uses.

Key Features:

• Made by Gates, a well-known name in hydraulic hose, couplings and fluid power components
• Designed to match Gates quick disconnect coupler series, including flush face and other coupler styles
• Meaningful Gates part numbering makes it easier to identify the right plug for your coupler
• Suited to agricultural and industrial hydraulic applications
• Simple to fit and remove, so it's easy to use when connecting and disconnecting hoses

Use these dust plugs on equipment that is disconnected often. They help protect the coupler's sealing surfaces and keep hydraulic connections clean. Gates also offers matching O-rings, dust caps and other quick disconnect components to complete your coupling setup.
