Gates Micro-V Dual-Sided Serpentine Drive Belt

The Gates Micro-V Dual-Sided serpentine drive belt, also called a double-sided serpentine belt or dual-sided V-ribbed belt, is built for engine accessory drive systems that route power from both the ribbed and the back side of the belt. Gates engineers it to drive multiple accessories, such as the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and A/C compressor, from a single belt.

Key Features:

• Dual-sided design: Ribbed profiles on both faces let the belt drive pulleys from either side in serpentine layouts that require it.
• Durable construction: Reinforced tensile cords and a durable rubber compound help the belt resist stretch, cracking, and wear.
• Precision Micro-V ribs: Accurately formed ribs help the belt track and grip the pulleys for efficient power transfer, with low noise and vibration.
• OE-quality engineering: Gates is a long-standing original equipment supplier of belt drive components, and this belt is made for dependable performance in demanding conditions.

Replacing a worn belt helps prevent slippage, squealing, and unexpected loss of accessory function. For best results, inspect the tensioner, idler pulleys, and other drive components when you install a new belt.
