Gates Micro-V Serpentine Belt Multi-V Drive Belt

Gates Micro-V serpentine belts, also called Multi-V belts, V-ribbed belts or accessory drive belts, transfer power from the engine crankshaft to accessories such as the alternator, water pump, power steering pump and A/C compressor. They are built for smooth, quiet operation in modern multi-accessory drive systems.

Key Features:

• Multi-rib design: Parallel V-shaped ribs run along the belt's length. They grip the pulleys well and allow tight bending around small-diameter pulleys.
• Durable rubber construction: The belt is engineered to resist heat, oil, cracking and wear. This supports reliable service life in demanding underhood conditions.
• Reinforced tensile cords: The cords help the belt resist stretching and keep tension consistent. This reduces slippage and noise.
• Quiet, efficient power transmission: The belt is designed to run smoothly with low vibration across the accessory drive.
• Precision manufacturing: Gates is a well-known supplier of original equipment belts, and it builds these belts to meet the fit and performance expectations of the application.

Replacing a worn serpentine belt helps prevent squealing, slipping and loss of accessory function. It also helps avoid unexpected breakdowns. For best results, inspect the tensioner and idler pulleys when installing a new belt. Select the correct belt length and rib count for your application.
