Gates Molded Notch V-Belt Accessory Drive Belt

Gates Molded Notch V-Belts are accessory drive belts (also called raw-edge cogged V-belts or notched V-belts) that transfer engine power to components such as the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and air conditioning compressor. The molded notch construction suits applications that need a V-belt drive.

Key Features:

• Molded notch design: The notches on the underside let the belt bend easily around smaller pulleys. They also help dissipate heat.
• Reinforced construction: Tensile cords give the belt strength and stability under load.
• Durable rubber compound: The compound is made to resist heat, oil, and wear over long service intervals.
• Wedge-shaped profile: The V shape grips the pulley grooves for efficient power transfer.
• Quality from Gates: Gates is a long-established maker of belts and hoses and supplies the automotive aftermarket.

Replace V-belts as a set when your application uses more than one. Also check pulleys and tensioners for wear when you install a new belt. Choose the specific belt you need from the individual part numbers in this product line.
