Gates Metric to JIC Flare Hydraulic Adapter Fitting Steering Coupling Assembly

Gates Metric to JIC flare power steering adapter fittings connect automotive power steering lines to ports that use a JIC 37° seal. They are also called hydraulic adapter fittings or steering coupling assemblies. They are useful for building custom power steering pressure and return line assemblies, and for adapting between metric and JIC connections.

Key Features:

• JIC 37° flare connection: Connects power steering lines to JIC-style ports.
• Metric adapter design: Adapts power steering and fuel lines, transmission oil cooler lines, oil filters, carburetors and drain plugs to metric sizes.
• Robust metal construction: Metal-to-metal seats handle high heat and are compatible with a range of fluids.
• Tubing compatibility: Works with copper, brass, aluminum and steel tubing.
• Standards conformance: Meets SAE and ASME conformance.

Gates is a recognized name in hoses, belts and fluid power. These adapters are designed to give leak-resistant power steering connections in restoration, custom, fleet and repair work.
