Four Seasons Block Type Expansion Valve without Solenoid

The Four Seasons block type expansion valve without solenoid is an A/C expansion valve (also called a thermal expansion valve or TXV) that meters refrigerant flow into the evaporator. It helps the air conditioning system cool efficiently under changing heat loads and engine speeds.

Key Features:

• Block-style design that mounts at the evaporator inlet and outlet connections
• Temperature-sensing design that adjusts refrigerant flow to match cooling demand
• No solenoid, so it is a direct replacement for non-solenoid block-type valves
• Helps maintain proper evaporator temperature and vent air temperature
• Helps protect the compressor by controlling refrigerant return to the system

Four Seasons is a long-established supplier of aftermarket A/C and engine cooling components. A worn or clogged expansion valve can cause weak cooling, evaporator icing, or erratic vent temperatures. Replacing it as part of a complete A/C service restores system performance. For best results, replace the receiver/drier or accumulator, and flush the system and recharge it to specification at the same time.
