Four Seasons Evaporator Coil

The Four Seasons A/C evaporator core (also called an evaporator coil) is a key part of a vehicle's air conditioning system. It sits inside the HVAC housing. As refrigerant passes through it, it absorbs heat and moisture from the cabin air, so the air coming out of the vents is cooler and drier.

Typical signs of a failing evaporator core include weak cooling, a musty or sweet odor from the vents, refrigerant loss, and fogging on the inside of the windshield.
